In October on World Mental Health Day, I visited St. Martins Hospital in Canterbury and I was able to view the 'Mind the Gap' art exhibition by service users. I also participated in a Mad Hatters Tea Party event.
It was very interesting to visit one of the wards at the hospital. I was able to discuss with executives of the Kent and Medway NHS and Socila Care Partnership Trust their plans to develop the St. Martins Hospital site and provide improved services to users.
A very useful visit and to a massively important piece of work.
