Rubbish on the Streets of Canterbury

I know how concerned how many people are about the rubbish on our streets.

One of my big campaigns over the last few months has been to have accumulated rubbish removed. It is such a shame that recycling and landfill sacks are not put out on the correct days and as a result can be left lying around for up to two weeks until the next appropriate collection.

There has been some progress and I am delighted that so much rubbish has now been removed.

I am also very pleased that our local MP Julian Brazier has also become involved in the project.
